NYS IMPORTANT UPDATES

Dear Home Care Agencies,

Please see the following updates.

1. EXTENDED NYS DISASTER EMERGENCY UNTIL 8.13.2022. The Order 11.8 extends the following:

- LCHSAs, and LTHHCPs are allowed to perform in-home supervision of HHAs and PCAs

- Nursing supervision for personal care services "as soon as practicable"

2. NYS PROPOSES THE FOLLOWING CHANGES:

- Medicaid Fraud

- Waste and Abuse Prevent Programs

- and Compliance Prevent Programs
